My Crew

Journal Entry: Tue Apr 15, 2008, 7:35 AM
Right, things are looking up.

Firstly, I managed to get over that Orange Box scandal. Now, I have other things on my mind. My Crew.

Yes...I and a few like-minded loonies from UCD have started a Steampunk airship crew. Our aim: wealth, our methods: heavy-handed, our ship: the recently-liberated "Reckless Abandon".

Speaking as a man who doesn't get to this sort of thing often...this is going to be a shedload of fun.....

  • Mood: Zeal
  • Listening to: The Blues Brothers.
  • Watching: The horizon.
  • Playing: The fool.
  • Eating: Fried rice.
  • Drinking: Rock shandy (AKA Nectar)

Devious Information

  • Current Age: 19.
  • Current Residence: The good ship "Reckless Abandon".
  • Interests: The good things in life: books, food, movies, music, adventure.
  • Favourite movie: Seven Samurai, The Blues Brothers, Dr Strangelove, Myazaki, The Seventh Seal.
  • Favourite band or musician: Bizet, The Blues Brothers, Warren Zevon.
  • Favourite genre of music: Anything classical: rock, blues, orchestral, Gilbert and Sullivan.
  • Favourite artist: Fred Perry, Rembrandt.
  • Favourite poet or writer: Michael Chabon, Mark Twain, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, George MacDonald Fraser.
  • Operating System: Windows XP.
  • MP3 player of choice: I don't use one. They're hard to recharge on board a steam-powered Zeppelin.
  • Shell of choice: Shell? The pursuit of justice is all the shield I need!
  • Favourite game: Advance Wars, Trauma Centre, Phoenix Wright, Dawn of War.
  • Favourite gaming platform: Laptop, or DS.
  • Favourite cartoon character: Theodore Diggers.
  • Personal Quote: "Damn your eyes, and pass the arrack!"
  • Tools of the Trade: A laptop, a deck of Magic, and my trademark Aussie Bush-hat.

You may, and the compliment is appreciated as well. It's by Charles Kingsley, I believe.

The watch is much appreciated. I'm light on reading, so I think I'll follow suit and see what you've got along those lines.

Yeah. I nearly got punched (in a friendly way) for suggesting a Scion of Cthulu. It was deserved, I suppose.

Curator? Wonderful; sounds to me like an interesting job. And of course my desire to see Baker Street grows the more I learn about it. And there is so much to learn about everything.

Man, Scion looks like an awesome game. I even started devising a Dragon Pantheon to throw into the mix ^^U
